c3nkcom-lin-community-manager Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-04
This Privacy Policy explains how c3nkcom-lin-community-manager (the “Application”) handles information when an authorized LinkedIn Page administrator connects a LinkedIn Page to the Application.
The Application is operated by Cenk Kabahasanoğlu. LinkedIn is not a sponsor, co-sponsor, endorser, or administrator of the Application.
1. Purpose of the Application
c3nkcom-lin-community-manager is designed to help authorized LinkedIn Page administrators manage an organization’s presence and community activity on LinkedIn. Depending on the permissions approved for the Application, this may include Page administration, organization content management, Page activity analysis, and engagement reporting.
The Application is not a social feed, does not create a copy of LinkedIn as a separate community, and does not provide advertising, sales, recruiting, lead-generation, or audience-building services.
2. Information the Application May Access
The Application accesses only the LinkedIn data made available through the permissions approved by LinkedIn and authorized by a Page administrator. Depending on the approved API scopes and enabled features, this may include:
- LinkedIn Page and organization identifiers
- Page administrator and role information needed to manage access
- Organization posts and other content created or managed for the Page
- Comments, reactions, likes, shares, and related Page engagement data
- Aggregate Page, follower, post, and engagement analytics
- Limited member information that appears in authorized Page activity or is required for an approved community management feature
- OAuth authorization information required to maintain the connection
The Application does not request or collect LinkedIn passwords. It does not access personal LinkedIn data beyond the permissions shown in the LinkedIn authorization flow.
3. How Information Is Used
LinkedIn data is used only to provide the approved community management functionality for the connected LinkedIn Page, including:
- Managing Page access and administrator workflows
- Creating, updating, reading, or organizing Page content when explicitly requested by an authorized administrator
- Displaying Page activity and engagement information to authorized Page administrators
- Producing Page-level or aggregate engagement reports
- Maintaining security, preventing unauthorized access, and troubleshooting the Application
The Application does not use LinkedIn data for advertising, sales prospecting, recruiting, lead creation, audience-list creation, ad targeting, or unrelated marketing profiles.
4. Authorization and Consent
Before the Application accesses LinkedIn data, the Page administrator must authenticate with LinkedIn and approve the permissions displayed by LinkedIn. The administrator may decline authorization or disconnect the Page at any time.
The Application does not access a Page or its data without an authorized LinkedIn authentication flow. The administrator is responsible for ensuring that they have the required authority to connect and manage the relevant LinkedIn Page.
5. Display, Export, and Combination Restrictions
LinkedIn member data and LinkedIn content accessed through the Community Management API are displayed only inside the Application to authorized users associated with the connected Page or organization.
The Application does not export, sell, license, distribute, or transfer LinkedIn member data or LinkedIn content to customers or unrelated third parties. It does not combine LinkedIn member data with other LinkedIn data, third-party data, or external datasets to create or supplement profiles, leads, audience lists, or reference databases.
6. Storage and Retention
Page administration data, Page content, and Page-level analytics are retained only for as long as needed to provide the requested functionality, maintain security, resolve support issues, or meet a legal obligation.
Member data and member activity obtained through the Community Management API are subject to LinkedIn’s applicable storage limits. The Application does not retain member social activity longer than permitted by LinkedIn and does not retain most member profile data beyond the applicable LinkedIn limit.
When data is no longer required, when the Page is disconnected, or when a valid deletion request is completed, applicable stored data is deleted or anonymized unless retention is required by law.
OAuth tokens and authorization data are protected with reasonable technical and organizational safeguards and are not displayed to other users.
7. Sharing and Disclosure
The Application does not sell LinkedIn data or share it with advertisers, data brokers, sales organizations, recruiters, or unrelated third parties.
Information may be processed by infrastructure and service providers that are necessary to operate the Application. These providers may process information only on behalf of the Application and under confidentiality and security obligations.
Information may also be disclosed if required by law, to protect the security of the Application, or to investigate abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access.
8. Disconnecting a Page and Deletion Requests
An authorized Page administrator can disconnect the LinkedIn Page by removing the Application’s authorization through LinkedIn or by contacting us.
To request deletion of data associated with a LinkedIn Page or organization, email me@c3nk.com with the subject line Community Management API data deletion request. Please identify the connected Page or organization and include enough information for us to verify the request. We may request reasonable verification before processing it.
We will acknowledge the request and delete applicable stored data within a reasonable period, subject to applicable law and LinkedIn’s requirements. Disconnecting or deleting data may prevent the Application from providing features that require LinkedIn access.
9. Security and Incidents
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
If we become aware of a security incident that affects or may affect LinkedIn members or Page data, we will investigate, mitigate the incident, and provide any legally required notifications.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Application is intended for authorized organization and Page administrators. It is not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone under the minimum age required to use LinkedIn in their location.
